Worship Team Application Request

Worship Team Open Auditions
Join us on May 17th after second service (11:45am CST) for open auditions with the Worship Team!

This is an opportunity to come in, meet the team, and audition in a relaxed, in-person setting. Whether you’re a vocalist or instrumentalist, we’d love to see how God is using your gifts.

What to expect:

A short, recorded audition (video for internal team use)
You can come prepared with a song of your choice or use our provided song: “Great Are You Lord”
Auditions will take place after second service

Please fill out the Worship Team application. You’re welcome to complete it ahead of time or when you arrive. We can’t wait to meet you!

Audition Video

Please record an audition video with whatever you are interested in playing on the team, whether that is an instrument, vocals or both. For vocals, please include yourself singing the melody in one part and harmonies in another. If you are unsure what song to sing, here are some recommendations:

Please feel free to reach out to Kyle if you need additional song suggestions. (worship@journeychurchlaporte.com) You are able to audition with any song, but a worship song is preferred. You are able to record yourself singing/playing along with a recording, you can sing a cappella, or you can play your instrument while you lead the song, if you are auditioning for both vocals and an instrument.
